RiverRun is an international film festival that takes place in Winston-Salem, NC. The organization tasked Mullenlowe to overhaul the website. Scott was the lead creative on the assignment and wanted to take it a step further than just a new design.
A website that put users in the director’s seat and effectively generated buzz for the film festival. Essentially, users planned out their festival experiences by creating personal trailers with clips from the films, events, and restaurants they were interested in at the festival. This trailer could then be shared to invite and excite friends about the festival. People loved the new experience. And web traffic doubled compared to the previous year.
